What a view!
The day started early in the morning at 8 o'clock. While eating breakfast we watched a little bit of the World Cup. Then we loaded the bus and drove about 40 minutes through pine woods to the Grand Canyon. All of us were blown away by the beauty of this painting-like wonder of nature. With huge water bottles and energy bars in our backpacks we were ready to start our hike into the Grand Canyon! Even though there was cloudy weather and some rain, it didn't stop us from taking tons of pictures and having a lot of fun!
The view was amazing. We had all seen the Grand Canyon in pictures, but never had we imagined the size and how massive it was. Hiking down was easy, and going up wasn't too bad either. I'm sure we all together took about 5,000 pictures that we can enjoy later. Now we're all looking forward to another great day.....we're going to Vegas!
